SCHERDEL Sales & Technology, Inc. is seeking a hands-on, dependable Machine Operator to operate advanced Bihler automated forming and assembly equipment used in high-precision metal component manufacturing. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop technical skills and build a long-term career in a clean, high-performance production environment. This Tier 1 role is part of a structured tiered advancement program with training and long-term growth opportunities.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and optimize BIH 80 & 120 spring coiling machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Perform machine adjustments and troubleshooting to ensure efficient production and consistent product quality.
  • Monitor production processes in compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, SPC guidelines, and customer requirements.
  • Train and support machine operators while promoting standardized work practices.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Management to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support as needed and perform additional duties to support business objectives.

Ihr Profil

  • High School Diploma or GED required, minimum of one year of experience operating SCHERDEL BIH machines preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable attendance and commitment to achieving team goals
  • Physical stamina and flexibility to support a variety of tasks within the department.
